Powerhouse in 1 rack space

I decided to give this amp a try and I'm glad I did. My monitors needed one more amplifier, but I really did not want to use a second rack; I had one space remaining. So, I ordered an M2600 from this website. The unit came quickly and the order process was professional and easy. I unpacked the amp and was impressed by a strong box with 2 form fitting plastic foam inserts. I popped off the 4 small rubber feet on the bottom. (just slide a flat screwdriver blade under them-you do not need to take amp cover off) Anyway, I got it in the rack, prewired it to the speakon quick connect bar and fired it up using a monitor on each channel, hit the power and let the amp initialize. It flashed the lights and goosed the fan..then silence. Now, I put a signal in channel 1 using an xlr cable and slowly brought up the level on the amp. I was not getting sound on channel 2 until I carefully clicked the link switch (that is very recessed) between the xlr inputs by using a small plastic rod. As soon as it clicked I had sound on both channels. It was so obvious that this is a rather powerful and clean sounding amp. Amazing power spanked my monitors hard! I could not turn up past 7 for fear of destroying the monitors. 350 watt rated at 8 ohms per side and I am a believer. My other monitor amp is an XTi 2000 and this GTD audio amp is almost equal on output! Sorry for a long review, but people need to see what a sound engineer thinks. Longevity, we'll see.
